Caspian Corner came about as a dream of Mahin, a mother of two, who immigrated from Iran to NY in 1988. When Her daugters, Roxanne and Sanam, moved out to San Diego, Mahin picked up her suitcase, some crafts she had done as a hobby, her dreams, and followed them to California. One year later, they all opened a gift/teashop to sell Mahin's crafts and show the folks in University Heights how good tea can be! Well, Mahin couldn't keep still and had to give the enthusiastic neighbors a taste of her cooking. Once Our customers tasted her delicious dishes, the rest was history...And so that's how Cafe Caspian was born.

Thanks to our friends and neighbors, we have been able to become a part of University Heights and call it home for over two years now. We love what we do and hope to keep sharing our love and cooking with our friends for years to come...
